1. Use and Features of Side Wall Conveyor
Compared with ordinary belt conveyors, Closed Side Wall Conveyor have the biggest features of large inclination conveying, compact structure and small footprint. It is especially suitable for small sites or renovation of old factories. Closed Side Wall Conveyor has simple structure, reliable operation, easy maintenance and strong versatility. It is a belt conveyor for bulk material conveying in metallurgy, mining, coal, port, building materials, chemical and other industries.
2.Technical characteristics and main parameters of Side Wall Conveyor
2.1. Ambient temperature: -10℃~40℃;
2.2. Characteristics of conveyed materials: Bulk density r≤2.5t/m 3 ; Block size A≤200mm; Small viscosity. For ordinary rubber conveyor belts, the temperature is below 80°C; when conveying high-temperature materials, use heat-resistant/high-temperature-resistant/flammable tapes, and conveyor belts working in fire-hazardous places should use flame-retardant tapes. When conveying materials with special requirements, such as materials with acids, alkalis, oily substances, organic solvents, etc., tapes made of corresponding materials should be used;
2.3. Bandwidth: B=500, 650, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400 and other six kinds;
2.4. Belt speed and conveying inclination: There are eight belt speeds: 0.4, 0.8, 1.0, 1.25, 1.6, 2.0, 2.5m/s, 3.15, etc.; conveying inclination 0°~90° (large conveying capacity, wide conveyor belt, higher speed).
